District Governor Elect Kim Spirou announced the great pollinator challenge and encourages each club in D6400 create or expand on an existing pollinator garden during her term. This is part of the District Action Group initiative which is a refined version of PDG Noel Jackson’s initiative to have a district level version of Rotary Action Groups serving the seven areas of Rotary international’s focus. Club Assembly
This meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and Prayer by Rev. David Stechholz. The meeting was a Club Assembly. We had 17 people in attendance. The first part of the meeting focused on Karl Peters, who was Director of the Livonia Senior Center; he retired soon after we moved into the new senior wellness center. Panel Discussion at the Mackinac Policy Conference
Schoolcraft College Foundation staff, including club member and Executive Director of the Foundation Dawn Magretta, hosted a panel discussion at the Detroit Chamber’s Mackinac Policy Conference to showcase the College’s pioneering Masonry Trades Program.
